I enjoyed a relaxing day there, taking a dip in the pool and making use of the braai facilities for a leisurely barbecue. The suspension bridge adds a unique touch and is a great spot for a quick photo op, reflecting a bit of history and charm.

After playing frisbee in the park, I joined friends for a braai. Additionally, it was lovely to see people enjoying the simple pleasure of fishing, with kids eagerly casting their lines.

Pro Tip:
Use the designated rear area for your dogs and keep them under control. There’s a 200 m space behind the small forest; remember to bring your own ‘pooper-scooper’ and clean up after your pets.

Zita Park

Make sure to keep an eye on kids near the swimming pool, as the area can get busy. It’s also a good idea to arrive early to secure a shaded spot for your picnic and avoid the peak hours when the park is most crowded.

Union Buildings Gardens

Wonderboom Nature Reserve

Voortrekker Monument

Acrobranch Pretoria North is nestled in a farm-side village, offering a variety of aerial adventures with obstacles high in the trees. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to add excitement to a birthday, team-building event, or school outing.

After exploring the treetop courses, we took advantage of the braai areas equipped with tables and charcoal for a relaxed picnic. Additionally, the on-site kiosk offered a variety of snacks and refreshments.

Bring comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes as well as plenty of water and sunscreen to stay hydrated and protected during the adventure.
