March Restaurant- Birnam located in Melrose Arch is a great restaurant to check out if you want to enjoy fine dining with your family or colleagues. The interiors look stunning with its use of plush chairs, wooden tables, and elegant tableware.

The food here is also phenomenal and varied, ranging from pastries to meats, veggies, and desserts. Our favourites, though, have got to be their gazpacho, roasted duck, venison pie, and decadent chocolate fondue!

Surprisingly, despite Onenineone -Rosebank getting pretty crowded during peak hours, you’ll find sectioned-off spots that will make you feel like you’re in a private room. For example, there’s an area here that has 3 lounge chairs separated from other guests.
Each area here, though, is a joy to stay in thanks to its elegant and minimalist design. Along with the great venue at Onenineone, you can order some absolutely delicious food items like beetroot and beef tartare, shucked oysters, and karoo lamb saddle!

Level Four Restaurant- Rosebank is an amazing choice if you want great mansion-like interiors with a dash of privacy. It has private lounge areas and segregated outdoor seating areas.
You’ll love this setup, as it will let you enjoy some peace as you feast!
The private areas here are cut off from the rest by classy wooden dividers while the outdoor seating has enough space in between to give you that isolated feel (and a great view!).

Located inside the Four Seasons Hotel, The Cellar Door is one the prettiest restaurants with a private area in Johannesburg. You can have a great meal at this restaurant while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the lush countryside.
We also liked that the private room setup is pretty straightforward featuring a long table that can comfortably seat up to 20 guests. From this area, you can talk to your guests in relative peace while enjoying some pizza, steak, salmon, cheese, and pastries.

Flames Westcliff is also located at the Four Seasons Hotel Westcliff, but it doesn’t really have a closed-off private room. Instead, it features modern indoor and outdoor seating areas that have enough space among them that privacy isn’t an issue!
Their outdoor seating areas are so spaced out that you can talk privately with your companion without any issues while their indoor seating areas have large pillars separating them from each other.
Enjoy their burgers with their shakes for a great meal!
