Kyoto Garden is one of my favourite sushi spots mainly because they use genuine wasabi root that’s freshly grated right at your table.
I always get the Alaskan king crab handroll because the crab meat is sweet and pairs well with the seasoned rice. If I want something different, I try the sea urchin uni; it has a creamy texture and a mild, salty taste that’s quite unique.
Pro Tip: Take advantage of Kyoto Garden’s six-course tasting menu for two. It’s a good chance to sample a variety of unique dishes and explore new flavours. |
