Visit Nelson Mandela Square, just a 13-minute walk away, for a beautiful experience day or night. Surrounded by bars and restaurants and with historical facts and a large statue of Mandela, it’s a must-see.

We appreciated the extra-length beds with orthopaedic memory foam toppers, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep. Each morning, we savoured the full breakfast included in the room rate, setting a perfect tone for the day ahead. 

Direct access to the gardens from our ground floor room provided a peaceful escape from the city bustle.

Dining at the hotel was a highlight, with Masterchef Ozzy’s menu served amidst precious artworks.

One of our favourite features was the sun terrace, perfect for soaking up the sun. Additionally, the concierge service was helpful, arranging everything from airport transfers to room service.

Our room, complete with a balcony, offered a beautiful view and modern comforts like a flat-screen TV and air conditioning.

Pro Tip:
Every Sunday from 12 PM to 3 PM, you can enjoy Jazz Sundays at Sanctuary Mandela. You can choose a ticket for the show only or a ticket that includes a 3-course meal, both of which come with a complimentary glass of bubbles.
