If you’re into classic British tailoring, you’ll love the skill at Custom Thread Tailors in Glenhazel. The studio is run by Doron Lurie, who trained on London’s famous Savile Row, so you get genuine expert craftsmanship and fabric knowledge in every suit.

They’re great with different budgets too. You can go for a fully bespoke suit designed from scratch, or choose a semi-custom route where they expertly adjust off-the-rack options to fit you.

If you’re planning a big wedding, they offer a great package for retinues that includes matching suits, ties, and cufflinks for your group. 

However, keep in mind their hours aren’t the most flexible since they close at 3:00 PM on Fridays and don’t open on Saturdays. 

Also, unless you have a large group, you’ll need to go to their studio for fittings because their on-site service is only for big parties.

What’s really special is their custom shoe service. They’ll handcraft leather shoes so you can match your brand-new suit perfectly. 

One client was really impressed when he came in for his wedding tuxedo. He mentioned how cool it was to see the custom Egyptian cotton shirts and rare accessories that rounded out his look.

But keep in mind, they’re all about menswear. They don’t offer bespoke tailoring for women, so it’s not a place for everyone. 

Also, you can only book weekend fittings on Saturdays since they’re closed Sundays, which can be a little tricky if you’ve got a busy schedule.
