However, it would’ve been nice to explain this clearly to the client and consult whether they’re willing to spend more to accommodate the design and specifications they wanted.

They have a warehouse filled with in-store stocks of many different kinds of furniture in  various styles and many different kinds of furniture. They also work on and sell customised furniture, which is nice.

Sylva City Furniture mostly specialises in wall-mounted units, but they also design and build drawers, tables, cabinets, beds, and other home and kitchen furnishings. 

We’re also impressed to find their catalogue packed with hundreds of furniture in different sizes, colours, and designs. Some products may be old stocks though, so keep an eye out for new arrivals.

We love that the company offers great value for money. Their products are built with top-notch materials, producing durable furniture.

Handyman works is a small but high-performing repair and maintenance company in Johannesburg. It’s led by one seasoned handyman who’s proficient in working with furniture assembly and installation, appliance repairs, and general repairs.

We’re really impressed that Mr. Phiri, the company’s owner and the handyman himself, is knowledgeable and equipped with the right tools to work on basically anything under the sun.

Of course, you’d still have to manage your expectations, considering that he’s just one man. In relation to this, it might be challenging for Handyman works to commit to several projects simultaneously.

Nonetheless, previous clients are more than satisfied with the quality of his workmanship.

Handyman works is also often preferred for their cheap service rates. Moreover, we love their quick turnaround time. 

We’re told Mr. Phiri completes jobs within an hour or two, which is awesome.

We also commend how they’re very responsive to clients’ inquiries and complaints. We think this is a good practice, especially while they’re building and growing their business.
