We also appreciate their after-sales service where they offer a 2-month guarantee for all their work. In addition, Fumigation Worx vouches for their termite treatments for 5 years, which is awesome.

It’s disappointing to hear minor complaints about Fumigation Worx’s ineffective fumigation. The client claims that they had to pay extra for the corrective measure.

In addition, we were told that some of the staff members are rude when handling customers. There are also reports where clients mention they experienced racism while dealing with the company.

D & D Pest Control Pty Ltd is a relative newcomer in the industry led by a small team that deals with all kinds of pests in houses, cars, garages, and backyards.

The first thing we found remarkable about D & D Pest Control Pty Ltd is their very cheap rates for their services. For as low as R 350, they treat ants, termites, cockroaches, indoor rodents and other kinds of insects.

One of their commitments is making pest control accessible to those living on minimum wage, and we find this really admirable.

Although still a budding business, D & D Pest Control Pty Ltd was able to produce repeat clients. Their team is recommended for having experienced and patient technicians who are careful in handling hazardous materials.

We’re told they produce high-quality work and produce effective solutions. Clients also like that they’re very passionate about their jobs and always go the extra mile in assuring that customers are satisfied. 

We’re also impressed with D & D Pest Control Pty Ltd’s client servicing. They’re responsive to questions and are always friendly and helpful in their replies.

Too bad they’re only quite a small team, which means they can only take several calls a day.

Unfortunately, this also has a bearing on appointment setting. Also because of limited manpower, they can only take on limited service requests at a time.

Despite this, we think they’re a promising company – we think their team is poised to grow in the next few years as they expand their business. And that’s why they made it to this list.

Pest Protect is another highly-regarded pest control and fumigation contractor in South Africa. They’re known for efficient pest control, bird proofing, and hygiene services.

Although they’re one of the big companies dealing with extermination, they’re actually one of the newly-established ones. Regardless, they are already partnered with private and public organisations and businesses, which impressed us.

We also found it noteworthy that Pest Protect recognises the complexity of fumigations. Thus, they make sure that their technicians are registered to carry out services using gasses such as Methyl Bromide, Phosphine and Sulfuryl Fluoride.

The company is also accredited by SAPCA and is an associate of the Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries.

We also like that they make sure to use the newest technology, and continuously conduct research to find the safest and best products to use in vehicles, residential, and commercial areas.

Pest Protect’s clients are wowed with their performance as the team always produces great results, and fast! Clients also compliment the technicians and staff for being professional and hospitable. 

As for their pricing, we hear Pest Protect’s rates are a little higher than other companies, which might be a dealbreaker for those on a budget. Nonetheless, their clients think the quality of their workmanship reflects the price customers pay.

Lastly, we were also told their customer service is difficult to connect to at times. Although this might be occasional when service requests come flooding in, but we hope Pest Protect can address this.
