Pros
- Beautiful, nature-inspired space
- Good curation of spa packages for different individuals and occasions
Cons
- A few issues with unfriendly staff and inconsistent customer service
- Inconsistent food quality
The number-one compliment Aronia Day spa gets from its clients is its relaxing and peaceful ambiance. We love that it’s designed to blend the indoors and outdoors so that you don’t spend your day inside a room.
Clients also enjoy the great lineup of regular spa packages that they constantly reinvent and update.
We are impressed by the spa’s ability to cater to different market segments through thoughtfully-crafted experiences; from brides- and mums-to-be and couples to limited-period packages that feature the best elements of the season.
In terms of individual services, we think that Aronia Day Spa generally offers a strong lineup of pampering essentials that go beyond massages. This makes them a great destination for groups and couples who are after a variety of treatments.
They also offer full- and half-day packages, which we think is an amazing way for clients to maximise their gorgeous facilities. Many satisfied clients rave about how relaxed and pampered they feel after a full day of treatments while enjoying the healing qualities of nature.
The only thing that perhaps brings it down is inconsistency. While most customers have high praises to sing about Aronia Day Spa, there are mixed reviews when it comes to customer service and food quality.
A significant handful of customers were attended to by unfriendly or unwelcoming staff, while others mentioned the sub-par quality of the food.
That being said, client experiences have been mostly positive and it seems like Aronia Day Spa is doing what it can to personally respond to each complaint.
Hopefully, these inconsistencies can be ironed out so that others can enjoy the signature excellent experience that most customers have had.

Pros
- Reasonable pricing
- Easy and safe parking
- Satisfying and immediate results
- Serene and tranquil atmosphere and location
- Open in the evenings
Cons
- One-off reviews on understaffing issues, ambiance, and quality of towels used
Most clients say the same thing about Rachawadee Thai Spa: the pain is worth the relaxation you experience afterward.
Thai massages are an art and discipline in themselves, and in terms of expertise, Rachawadee Thai Spa delivers superbly. It is clear that knowledgeable clients who willingly put themselves through initial discomfort can testify to the immediate results they experience post-massage.
We love how they go the extra mile to help customers feel as comfortable as they can. This includes warming up the room just a bit more during the winter season, offering a relaxing foot wash at the beginning, and adjusting the massage based on the client’s needs.
Located in the historic Houghton Estate, we love the serene and peaceful vibe of Rachawadee Thai Spa’s surroundings, mostly of fresh greenery.
While there have been a few complaints about rooms lit too brightly and distracting music, management has promptly addressed these concerns, which we commend.
Given the high quality of the massages, clients love the reasonable pricing of this spa’s services. Upon a quick skim of their service menu, we like their solid range of massage offerings, which includes treatments for athletes and expectant women.
We also appreciate the relatively extensive selection of spa packages, which is more generous than most typical Thai spas. Their longest package lasts for 4 hours and is capped off by a healthy meal, which sounds like a certified crowd-pleaser.
Needless to say, Thai massages are not for everyone. But while most of their targeted treatments involve a certain amount of discomfort, clients will be glad to know that their therapists are willing to tailor the pressure based on their needs and sensitivities.

Pros
- Kids’ spa available
- Complimentary hydro pool usage for all clients
- Luxurious look and feel
- Extensive selection of treatments – from massages to IV drips
- Safe parking area
Cons
- Several reviews on poor customer service and rushed treatments
- Relatively pricy services
We think that Revive Wellness Spa truly delivers an escape from the city within the city, design-wise. Their interiors reflect luxury and opulence, which speaks to the kind of clientele they wish to attract.
Clients are quick to compliment their heated hydro pool, which may be enjoyed by anyone availing of any service. And while their prices are relatively higher than their counterparts, we think that the quality of the facilities justifies the pricing.
We really like that they offer a kids’ spa, and even hire out the venue for kids’ spa parties. This is a great option for parents to come with their kids and still enjoy the solitude and pampering they crave.
We think that any client who goes here will be spoilt for choice in terms of services. This spa has pretty much everything you need to make you feel indulgently looked after – from massages and body treatments to facials, waxing, tanning, and yes, even IV drips.
Even their list of seasonal packages is extensive, and we appreciate how they’ve taken the time to carefully craft each experience according to the type of clients and their unique needs.
Sadly, Revive Wellness Spa also has its fair share of complaints. It’s worth mentioning that some of the most common issues faced by clients are services being rushed due to the number of customers currently being serviced, as well as miscommunication and unresponsiveness.
Having listened to these stories, we think that these issues tend to surface during their busiest days and times. We do hope that management is actively seeking to find ways to address these concerns.

Pros
- Responsive to customer queries
- Top-notch food
- Membership discounts
- Tranquil indoor ambiance
- Efficient booking system
- Secluded location with fantastic views
- Open during evenings
Cons
- Not as conducive to relaxation due to the location of facilities
- Higher price range
- Food sometimes takes longer to serve
Located in the posh Four Seasons Hotel in Westcliff, the Four Seasons Spa is the epitome of luxury in the city. We love how the location affords the spa the most amazing views, which are both healing and rejuvenating.
That being said, not all of the amenities are well-placed. There are comments on the outdoor pool being located near a busy road, which makes the area prone to distracting sounds from the outside.
Despite this, clients love the overall tranquility the well-designed indoor-outdoor spaces provide. This, coupled with a thoughtful range of well-crafted spa services, makes for a great staycation or holiday experience for individuals and couples.
One thing we appreciate about the Four Seasons Spa is how easy it is to book a service. Communicating with them via WhatsApp is effortless, as staff respond promptly to queries.
They also have a fantastic membership program, which we reckon would be appreciated by those willing to invest in regular pampering and self-care. There are monthly, semi-annual, and annual packages that feature great discounts on key services and even guest passes.
Given that they are a hotel spa, prices are understandably higher. However, it seems that these are justified as most clients leave happy with the level of service they’ve experienced.

Pros
- Beautiful space with scenic views
- Bespoke healing massage packages available
Cons
- Pricey spa services
- Average amenities
- Some reviews pertaining to staff attitude and subpar therapists
The most standout comment Sinzinani Spa consistently receives is its magnificent views. Located in the Thaba Eco Hotel, this spa delivers in terms of providing an atmosphere conducive to total rejuvenation.
One service that sets them apart from their competitors is their bespoke healing massage packages. We like that this series is designed to address issues that have lifestyle implications, such as stress, sleep, and specific aches and pains.
We think that these packages will attract a clientele that is willing to pay a premium for customised experiences.
Clients also praise the therapists of the spa as they are knowledgeable and warm, providing good insight on the kind of massage that would benefit them the most.
We are also impressed that they are quick to respond to a complaint or issue and that the owners themselves are the ones to reach out to the client.
A minor setback is their amenities, which some clients describe as average. This is not necessarily a bad thing; however, since Sinzinani Spa is positioning itself as a luxury spa, the quality of the amenities is bound to be easily criticised.
Compounding this are the premium price tags. Sinzinani Spa is more expensive than its competitors, and while the views do offer great value for money, clients tend to remember the subpar facilities and feel somewhat underwhelmed.
There are also a handful of reviews that highlight incidents of poor customer service and unsatisfactory spa services. We understand that this probably pertains to specific staff members and therapists, as a larger number of clients speak highly of how well they were looked after.
