It’s also a big plus for us that the company’s team of skilled technicians has years of experience in the industry. They are also trained to handle all types of vehicles, from passenger cars to commercial trucks, as well as various window types and designs.

NST Auto Glass’ staff are knowledgeable, eager to help, and committed to the projects they’re handling, which we commend. It’s worth mentioning, though, that there is a handful of reports citing substandard workmanship.

That said, management promptly assisted the client who had concerns, which is a green flag for us.

Nonetheless, we also heard minor complaints about NST Auto Glass’ delayed services. We’re told some of their past clients were bummed after the team didn’t show up on-site as previously scheduled, which can be discouraging.

We also love that Delarey Welding’s window installation services aims to provide customers with high-quality windows that are durable, energy-efficient, and aesthetically pleasing. 

It’s a plus for us that the company offers a wide range of window styles and designs to choose from, including aluminium and steel frames, as well as glass options such as clear, tinted, and frosted glass.

Delarey Welding’s team of experienced technicians works closely with customers to determine their specific needs and preferences and then provides customised solutions to meet those requirements. 

The company’s commitment to quality is evident in the use of high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship in every installation project.

We also love that they also offer value-added services, making home improvement easier for clients. In addition to window installation services, they also offer a range of other welding and fabrication services, including gates, balustrades, and fencing. 

Our only concern is Delarey Welding’s poor after-sales services. We’re told multiple of their previous clients found it difficult to get the shop’s support for follow-up requests and repairs for their work, which is disappointing.

We’re quite impressed that the company’s expert team of technicians has years of experience and is trained to handle all types of window installation projects, both large and small.

What sets Active Glass & Aluminium apart from its competitors is its commitment to using only the best materials and cutting-edge technology to ensure that products and installations are not only aesthetically pleasing but also durable and energy-efficient.

We also admire how their dedication to customer satisfaction seems to be largely unrivalled, with many satisfied customers returning for repeat business. Apparently, they go above and beyond to provide customised solutions for its customers.

However, we’re a bit iffy after hearing a bunch of reports about the team’s repeated tardiness. 

In addition, we also think Active Glass & Aluminium needs to improve on their client communication, especially when entertaining new or potential clients. Some complain how it’s difficult to get hold of the shop’s representatives, which isn’t ideal.

And finally, we have Southern Glass, a reputable glass manufacturing and installation company that’s known for their exceptional glass products and window installation services to residential and commercial customers since its establishment in 1989.

The company’s forte is in the manufacturing and installation of a wide range of windows, including sliding, casement, and fixed windows, among others. 

Although they’re more focused on glazing services, with their team of experienced technicians and state-of-the-art equipment, we like how Southern Glass can handle both large and small window installation projects with ease.

We also commend how Southern Glass is dedicated to using top-grade materials in the production of its goods to guarantee that its windows are not only visually appealing but also long-lasting and energy-efficient.

The company’s windows are also designed to enhance the appearance and functionality of any property, providing a secure and comfortable environment for its customers, which is another plus for us.

We also selected Southern Glass for its devotion to delivering tailored services and focusing on the minutest details to guarantee that every client’s requirements are met with contentment. .

Take note, though, that Southern Glass’ selection of window types and designs is limited compared to its competitors. 

Go Glass and Aluminium is a family-owned business established in 1989, and over the years, they have built a reputation for providing quality glass and aluminium windows and doors, showers, mirrors, and shopfronts at an affordable price.

What’s great about them is that they serve both residential and commercial markets, and their services include custom design, fabrication, and installation.

One of the pros of working with Go Glass and Aluminium is their focus on quality. They are a proud member of SAGGA (South African Glass and Glazing Association), and, unlike others, they manufacture and install all their products according to the relevant South African Building Regulations.

They only use Wispeco “Crealco” products that are specified per the Architectural plans provided, and all their employees have extensive experience in fabrication and installation. With these measures in place, customers can be assured that they will receive quality products and services.

Aside from these, we like that they have more than enough experience with big commercial projects. They have worked on repairs and replacement of shopfronts and doors for reputable companies such as Clicks, Shoprite, Woolworths, Burger King, Total, and Village Square.

On the downside, one potential con of working with Go Glass and Aluminium is that they are a family-owned business, which means that they may have limited resources and manpower compared to larger companies. However, they do work with Wispeco-approved materials and bring in additional staff when needed to deliver a complete project.
