The omnichannel feature of Redial is a convenient one. We were able to reach them via voice, email, chat, and social media platforms, saving us from 10-plus minutes of hold music, since not every agent was tied to phones.

Accent-wise, it’s generally neutral here, given the company’s emphasis on 100% cultural alignment and at least two years of call centre experience. That spares you from going the US-based route, which generally clocks at $28 (R484) to $38 (R658).

We’d say the industry scope is adequate, too. The clients we had convos with came from over 10 sectors, such as IT, retail, and hospitality.

Tenure, however, isn’t their best asset. We’re not saying they’re newbies, given their 2017 opening, but all the other entries have been running for decades.

North America is Redial’s main market as well, worth pondering if you’re not within that geographic zone.

Nutun is no rookie, having been around since 1997, with a client base made up of over 150 companies across South Africa, the US, the UK, and Australia. If you need an indicator that can handle heavy work for a long time, that’s one.

As a larger company, scalability will unlikely be a concern either. This centre can provide you with 10,000 agents if needed.

Cross-platform support is also covered, so your customers can reach you through live chats, calls, and email.

However, their record on WhatsApp isn’t exactly appealing. Some folks had to wait hours for a response.

There were also instances where they provided callbacks using cell phone numbers. We’re not the biggest fans of that, as it can unsettle clients.

What we like, though, is that they’re partnered with reputable companies, such as PayPal and Intercom. This shows they meet high standards and can deal with major operations.

One of the most prominent names here is Concentrix. As of 2025, their clientele is composed of over 2,000 companies, the list spanning 6 continents and 70 nations!

If you ask our crew, though, being tech-driven without losing the human element is their advantage. Work is optimised using tech like AI, but it’s still an actual agent (with at least 2 years in their resume) who’ll sort you out.

They were even included in GreenBook’s Top 50 research firms of 2019.

Of course, weak points exist, mainly when it comes to in-house management. The agents themselves have complained about rude managers, which can affect morale.

Their history of late payments can also drag motivation or performance down.

Provided that’s not a red flag for you, they’re a reliable, battle-tested choice. Concentrix has been operating since 2004, you know.

Very PLeasant

You know that parktown nje has its own reputation but it was so easy just getting there with public transportation from town, it’s very affordable.

The arrival at their offices was very warm, the lady that we see ,advised me to please sign the register and then after that, I was then given directions to the interview rooms. The lady that was doing the fingerprints was very polite and she was easy to communicate with.

Natasha, was very pleasant and she was very professional but also made me feel very comfortable.

They have a very unique and nice office space. Would definitely love to be part of the team soon.

IntelliBPO may not be a global powerhouse, but it brings one unique benefit, and that’s bespoke services. In other words, their solutions are customised to your company’s needs instead of following a standardised setup.

Don’t mistake them for a team of rookies, though. This one has a 30-year track record and provides omnichannel support, including voice, chat (Telegram and WhatsApp), social media, and email.

On top of that, their service model encourages personal and lasting relations. The smaller, not-so-bureaucratic setup also makes it easier to adapt when demands change.

There are some disadvantages, naturally. The resources, for instance, aren’t on par with those of larger BPOs.

They’re not the quickest in replying to emails either, which might be a result of their relatively smaller size.

On the upside, they can operate on hybrid or fully remote setups, letting you dodge office rental fees, which generally start at R3,500 per head in Joburg.

If you’re looking for a multi-service call centre, iSON Xperiences is worth a tap. Their scope is lengthier than most, with solutions such as omnichannel support, client acquisition (mainly through social media engagement), CX design/consulting, and analytics.

Another point in their favour is affordability, especially if you’re outside of Joburg and on the market for a tech-savvy, accent-neutral offshore workforce.

Wait times, however, haven’t always been ideal. Some interviewees said they had to stay put for 30 to 45 minutes before getting an agent.

Grievances regarding workplace matters, particularly rude HR reps and delayed salaries, have also been raised. We’ve mentioned before that this isn’t great for morale.

One silver lining is that they hold notable international accreditations, namely an ISO 9001 and an ISO 27001.

They’re also broad in terms of industry and country scope, spanning 8 different sectors and 22 nations, including the UK and the US.
